Miami Florida: Mango Festival at the Fairchild Tropical Garden
The festival has arrived! This is one that I wait for anxiously. There are mango tastings, mango recipes, mango auctions and mangos and mango trees for sale.
Chef Allen will be there and many other interesting people, chefs and tasters like me!
Arrive early. Fairchild Tropical Garden opens at 9:3am.
The Garden gets packed. Parking can be pretty complicated.
I went there this morning and was overwhelmed with the amount of cars. I stayed focus on my task: To buy exotic mangos! I got some and left. Will probably go back tomorrow morning!

The Fairchild Tropical Garden is a very beautiful part of Miami surrounded by large residences with beautiful gardens.
The fabulous gated communities such as Coco Plum and Gables by the Sea are nearby.

Millionaire Row is the area around the Fountainbleau and Eden roc. You can still find good deals in some older buildings. Some of these buildings have a view of the intracoastal waterway and Miami Beach.
The older buildings come in many sizes and shapes. There are those lower buildings built in the 60’s and then high rises with art deco entrances. Some of these buildings have the best 2 views in town: Miami Beach and the intracoastal waterways.
You will also find contemporary developments and beautiful buildings such as the Mei Miami Beach.

Aqua Allison Island is on the intracoastal waterways in Miami Beach. It’s a private island with different types of condos, privacy and great views.

Happy 4th of July! Many places to go in Miami. Florida has the best fireworks, Miami has the best views with fireworks on the 4th of July.
The Biltmore Hotel will be having fireworks this year at 9:00pm. They will also have the Greater Miami Symphonic Band at 7:00pm.
Fireworks at the Biltmore Hotel will be at 9:00pm
The Biltmore Hotel is a great place to take a pic nic basket and hang out during the late afternoon while listening to the band before the fireworks show.
Biltmore Hotel is in Coral Gables. Florida!
Miami Beach will also have fireworks and the South Florida Symphony Orchestra. Fireworks start at 9:00pm.

There are many other places in Miami that will have the fantastic 4th of July fireworks. Take a look a the Miami Herald for more information or check the Internet and I am sure you will find different locations.
