Miami Real Estate: Brickell Ave

Another great spot to take a break on Brickell Ave:

Brickell Ave has lovely spots for a break and a view

This park is just off of the Avenue near the Icon.  If you walk to one end you have the Brickell Key bay and on the other end is Brickell Ave.

The great thing about living on Brickell is that you have everything!  Homes, offices, restaurants, super markets, pharmacies…

And fabulous spots to rest.

One of the most beautiful views just one block from Brickell Ave.  This is where you can see people walking their dogs, people sitting down and waiting for the sun to set and even avid meditators.

Beautiful view near Brickell Ave

Miami Florida Real Estate

The Brickell area has some great little resting areas along the avenue and its surroundings.  One of the best kept secrets is the Simpson Park.

Simpson Park

The Simpson Park has trails that are mostly shaded making it a good place for walking in the summer.  There is a pond in one corner.  A club house that provides shade and can hold events.  This belongs to the county so reservations can be a bit complicated.  But onto the more positive side:  Great picnic tables under the shade providing an area to chat and snack or just sit and read in that very peaceful oasis!

Seating areas by the pond

The Simpson Park is on South Miami Ave and it really has two entrances.  One is on the corner of 15th Rd and S Miami Ave and the club house entrance is on

55 Southwest 17th Rd  Miami Fl 33129   305 856 2548.

Miami Florida Real Estate:  More on Brickell Ave

Brickell avenue has some wonderful architect.  It’s worth taking a walk and checking out the buildings.  The summer is a great time to do this as all the Poinciana trees are blooming and add a beautiful red to part of the avenue.  Actually:  They are mostly on the residential part of Brickell Avenue.

Here are some of the great building on the commercial part.  The commercial part is mostly from 15th Rd to the bridge.  Although there are also some residential buildings on this part of Brickell Ave.  The Icon for example is near the bridge.  The Icon is a residential building and the Hotel Viceroy is also a part of the building.

The Espirito Santo building is one of the most majestic buildings on Brickell!

As you walk towards the bridge and away from the Espirito Santo you will see these:

Condos on Brickell Area, Miami.

I live at the Palace.  It’s also known as the “Palace Condo”.

The Palace was built in the 80’s and received a lot of attention for its design at the time.

Palace Condo, Brickell, Miami Florida

These are terraces to apartments that face the bay.  The swimming pool has an organic shape.  You can see Key Biscayne from the pool.  Well not really.  You can see the bridge that goes to Key Biscayne and the beautiful view of Biscayne Bay.

There are apartments with ocean view and city view. Some just have the city view and come with more rooms and a balcony so that you can see the sunset!

Palace Condo Brickell view from higher floor

The Palace has a tennis court.

There is a gym and of course it’s walking distance from  many other gyms and yoga places.

It has a children’s play room.

Sorry dog lovers: The Palace does not allow dogs in the building.

Minutes from downtown.  Near many restaurants (walking distance!) and cafes.

The Brickell area is central and easy to get anywhere.  Close to I95 and so Coral Gables, the airport or South Beach is a ride away.

You can see the Rusty Pelican and the marina across the bay

The neighbors and the beautiful colors of the end of the day:
